Eli had discovered the moving bed by this time and was not interested in pictures. Can you believe there are FIVE children on that couch that I am responsible for???? Sorry, small burst of overwhelmedness--Mom is returning my children to me tomorrow. Gulp.
Before I went to the hospital Cowen told me that he really wanted the baby to have brown hair because
"every kid needs a match." Well, Buddy, you got your match!!
Eli loved to poke the baby and then run away. I see her future stretching out before her . . ..
Emeline is my most maternal child. She was the only one more interested in the baby than the moving bed. She's been waiting ages to finally hold her sister. So sweet.
I'm off to bed. Tomorrow I have to take care of all five!!

You'll do just fine. Looks like the older girls will be a big help already. I love pictures of older siblings looking at their newest member of the family for the first time. There's something just so amazingly emotional about that.
