On Sunday I whipped out my camera to take pics of Emeline with Harriet. Emeline is a little mother. Once I told her she couldn't get any bigger because she had to stay my little girl and she said, "But then how could I be a mom?"
I have to point out that in the above pic, Harriet's cheeks are utterly kissable. I want to go kiss her right now. But I won't because she's asleep and I want to finish this blog post so I can go to bed. But the urge is there every time I see the pic.

Since my camera was already out, I decided to document what the rest of the family was doing. Miriam was picking her lip--again! They are often a bloody/scabbed over mess. Children these days. I told her to stop picking--hence the smile.
I kept harassing her. This pic is the result. Doesn't she look old in this pic?? Way too big. She's not allowed to get older, I can't stand it.
All the next day she played robots. That's what comes of her searching through her Dad's collection of sci-fi to find something to read.
Cowen is as good looking as ever. He was "riding" on the couch, which is strictly prohibited. Children these days.
Sometimes I forget how beautiful Emeline's eyes are because I tend to focus on her mouth when I watch her. I love her mouth. So expressive. So pretty. So like her dad's.
The other day I showed Emeline a picture of me when I was about five. I asked her who she thought it was. "Me," was her unhesitating response. I agreed. I had no idea how much we look(ed) alike until I saw pics of me at the same age. Her mouth is so different from mine that it throws me off.

Hi Andrea, my favorite red head, although your children are a close second,
My science teacher sister Sarah wants to know if you want her material for homeschooling. She teaches science to 5th,6th,7th,and 8th grades (yes, all of them) and even has some 9th grade material. Let me know-
Christy
A Comment from Christy!!!!!!!!!! You lucky duck. And Becky home schools too so she may want some of that stuff too- but Sarah does teach at a Catholic school- so it may not be real science- you know maybe it is catho-science.
