Derek and Brooke were here this weekend--visiting from Canada. It was awesome to see them. And school them in Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader? (well, Timothy schooled Derek--but I get a lot of the reflected glory).
Another highlight was comparing the kids. A sport beloved by parents everywhere, but extra cool with Eli and Ashlee because they are only four days apart.

We also spent a lot of time oohing and aahing over our babies--Karlee and Harriet are ALSO four days apart. Consistency thy names are Andrea and Brooke.
Karlee was heavier and longer--but they were equally sweet and kissable. (We didn't plan the matching outfits, we're just good like that.)
Beckie made my girls matching dresses and got the boys matching ties. So cute! My camera is broken (the cover won't open all the way--hence the black covering the corner of each picture) so I haven't taken a ton of pics. Yet.
And to end this blog post--I give you a picture of Cowen without one of his top teeth. It is even harder to understand what he's saying now. But it sure is fun to listen to him!
As a sidenote--Dad saddled the horses for the grandkids on Saturday. Cowen and Eli were in heaven despite the cold. Thanks, Grandpa!!
