Miriam doesn't like sweets. Isn't that weird?!! Her favorite food is strawberries with cream. This year she asked for angel food cake so she could have strawberries and cream. I think she even ate a little cake. A very little cake. :)

Great-grandma was bringing out Miriam's present and Cowen didn't want Miriam to peek.
Best pic of the night. Great-grandma was reading stories to the kids. She's hilarious. She used to teach elementary school and then she volunteered at a local elementary school for years. She knows how to read with expression.
We had a lovely time. I recorded some of Great-grandma reading Olivia to the kids. A memory to treasure.The only glitch was that I forgot Miriam's presents at home. Oops. Miriam was a good sport about it though.

Just caught up on your blog - sorry about the bacon grease - that is a big bummer- miriam's birthday looked like lots of fun - cute pics of the kids! can't wait for the reunion!
