Emeline turned FIVE on Sept. 25. I can't believe how time flies and how big she's getting. I also can't believe how behind I am on this blog. Or how lazy I was with her birthday. She wanted a carousel cake, but it didn't quite get there (the kids picked into the animal crackers). She was still pretty happy with her day.
Happily, Emeline is a genius when it comes to food. She asked for crepes for her birthday supper with strawberries and whipped cream. Yum! We also had chokecherry jelly with cream cheese. Quadruple yum! Last Sunday we had crepes (it has become a bit of a habit on Sundays) and we tried cooked apples with caramel sauce. Also yum.
