Lady Harriet sometimes gets forgotten about as she rarely cries and so happily follows her siblings about. On this particular day (I forget which) she had been downstairs with all the kids playing, and then the kids came upstairs and went outside. I thought Miriam was still downstairs with Harriet, but she wasn't. When I noticed Miriam was outside I went hunting for Harriet. Usually she follows the kids upstairs and then finds me when they all go outside. Someone had shut the door to her and Emeline's room and she fell asleep under Emeline's bed. It took me a few minutes to find her. Hide-and-go seek for mothers.
Emeline reads really well. She also likes to practice her writing, but gets confused between "b" and "d." She was proud of writing "dad" because she'd been writing "bad" or "bab" or "dab" all morning while trying to write "dad."
Miriam with her first 4th grade history project. She read two books about Mesopotamia and then made a ziggurat out of cardboard. Pretty snazzy, Miriam.

How adorable is a Harriet sleeping under the bed, eh?
And might I add.....I'm envious of {okay...coveting} all the CLEAN space you got underneath there. ; )
