Yes, I am pregnant! Yeah! I had my first doctor's visit today and everything looks normal--so I am growing a baby this time and not a mole! I am very grateful that everything looks like it might work out--although this early in the game I still have a hard time not holding my breath and keeping my fingers crossed (mentally) all the time. And yes, Amy, it does look quite a bit like a tadpole but I decided that I am going to tell people the good news early since I end up telling people bad news regardless of whether or not they knew the good news. This pregnancy is all about positive thinking (an actual baby, a normal delivery, no bleeding problems . . .).
At the doctor's they had me fill out an OB history (why they do that when they have my ridiculously fat chart/folder sitting in one of their drawers, I don't understand). Of course, it made me look bad. Do I remember my children's birthdates? No. Do I remember my children's birthweights? No. Hey--at least I remember that I HAVE children! So, the nurse had to fill everything out using my fat folder anyway.
Aunt LaVerle--now you have given the little voices in my head yet another thing to chant. ARGH!! :)
Thanks for the congratulations everyone!
Amy--anyone who wants to read the book is welcome too. I'll email it when it is done--which will be the end of this month. Kayli and I set an ironclad goal--we even wrote it on our calendars! Hee hee.

YAY!! Congratulations! :) I told people early when I was pregnant as well...I figured I would want the support from my family and friends if, God forbid, anything had happened. I will be keeping you in my prayers for a happy, healthy, totally uneventful pregnancy.
Can't wait to read your book! Definitely send it when it's done. :)
Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. I will send the book along ASAP. Meaning as soon as we get it done!
