10 Things I Still Want to Do in my Life

My friend Becky put her 10 things she still wants to do on her blog, and I loved reading it, so I thought I would copy and do the same.

1) Visit Ireland for at least one month, pretend I'm Irish, eat in a pub, and look for leprechauns

2) Have more children

3) Win the Newberry Award for the historical fiction novel I have had planned out for years. First I guess I need to write it . . ..

4) Get a book published

5) Own every single Lloyd Alexander book ever published. Harder than you think--it took me three years for a used bookstore owner to track down one of them and then it cost a bundle. There are several more of his books that I don't own that are like that.

6) Learn how to play the cello. I was really good for the year I played, but then Lindsay sat on the cello and broke the neck off and we couldn't afford to rent another one. A luminous career ended before it began.

7) Win first prize at a county fair for a food item.

8) Have Miriam obey something, anything, the first time I ask. Some things on this list are more likely than others.

9) Have my children grow into people that I can enjoy, and that do things that will make them happy (missions, temple marriages, families, education).

10) When Timothy and I are old, still hold hands.

I like your list. They are all VERY do-able.
