Karaoke

So my dream of owning a karaoke machine has finally come true. I heard the bump outside the front door and then the knock, and when I threw open the door--THERE IT WAS! YEAH!!

I had to wait for Timothy to hook it up, but once he did the house started rocking! I bought a patriotic cd, a Christmas cd (good thing--Miriam knew the words to Jingle Bells), Aladdin, a Disney Princess CD, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, famous duets, and Willie Nelson.

Yes, I said Willie Nelson. It had Georgia on My Mind and I couldn't help myself. I need to tape Timothy singing "On the Road Again" doing his Willie impersonation. Hilarious. Timothy also watched "You're the One that I Want" from Grease on YouTube four times so he could really nail it when we sang it. It was also on the duets cd. He's not quite Travolta, but he's pretty darn good! I told him we need to practice the part where Travolta feels up "Sandy." Ha ha.

Even better though, was Timothy singing "Love Shack." It came on the duets cd. Timothy was so . . . boisterous . . . he made Emeline cry. It was a little scary, but very, very, very funny. Such a great night.

Now I need to get to bed so I can keep up with Cowen on our hike tomorrow.

Oh we LOVE our machine too. It brings something out that otherwise wouldn't be there. I am sure you know what I mean. : D
