Kayli's created a monster! Or, More Pictures!

Miriam, modeling her new pajamas and winter hat. The pajamas are easily recognizable to family members as they have been passed around forever! Megan gave me a bag to go through, and we found some great stuff to go in the kids' emergency backpacks and some good camping shirts and some pjs for Miriam. So--thanks Megan for aiding us in our goal to be prepared.

I'm annoyed, I swear I saved these the right side up before I put them on my desktop. Rude. Anyway, this is Emeline looking very sad and sick--which is exactly what she was today. She threw up this morning and I walked into the room, smelled it, and promptly threw up. Got to love being a preggo mommy.

Cowen is modeling the other older than the hills pajamas I was most grateful to get.

This is what happened when I asked Cowen to smile.

This is what Cowen's neck looked like two days after he was playing in the blinds and almost hung himself. Cowen broke the safety latch Tim put up when Garrett almost hung himself, in order to get to the blind cords. WHY are kids like this?

Pajamas again.

Lindsay Ann was over today and we made playdough for the kids and had a great time watching Miriam and Hailey do some "wild dancing." That's what Miriam called it. She said, "This is Sarah (Hailey) and I am Wild Dancer, and we are going to do some wild dancing. When we dance on one foot and turn in a circle, you all clap and yell hooray." They then proceeded to do some really wild dancing. So. . .despite holding sad Emeline for hours, it was a good day.

But, I just remembered my point, Lindsay Ann pointed out that my children have new wounds to show her every time she sees them. Very true. So I took some pictures of their wounds. I forgot Cowen's toe though--the one that he dropped the metal stake on and it bled and oozed for days, and his toenail is totally purple. Maybe I mentioned it before. Poor kid.

Miriam's leg.

Cowen's knee.

Um. Ok. So those pj's may be old...but not as old as the hills, since mom made them for ME which means, they have only been passed down insofar as Danica, Lynnaea, and at random intervals other neices (and I guess now nephews) have worn them. I got them for Christmas, one pair in Ogden, and one pair in Des Lacs. That is my statement,.
