Would any of you make a trip to DI to purchase a crib mattress, get distracted by the books, buy several, and then after returning a pair of pants to Target see the Carl's Junior in the same complex, buy a milkshake despite being broke and read in the parking lot until 11:00 pm because you can't quite put the book down to drive the three minutes back to your house and besides, you might have to do something besides read and sip a milkshake if you return to your house? Would you? Would you? That's what I thought. I'm completely normal.

Absolutely, I would do that, and have before. Reading in peace and quiet is a great luxury around here, only reserved for times when I am out by myself (rarely), or when everyone is sleeping. Hence my extreme sleep deficit when I am involved in a good book. :)
They named him Aidan Chad (my cousin's first name is Chad). Their first son is named Elias...not sure on middle name.
As far as non-LDS recognition of the name Brigham Young, I can't speak for the general population on the matter. You talked about Brigham Young when we were in school together and I have of course heard of BYU many times since then on TV and on message boards, etc. I don't have any strong dislike of the name, if that's what you are asking. I think it's a good name, actually. Do a lot of LDS people use the name Brigham? That would be my only concern, that it would be too common. Kind of like Catholics naming their daughters Mary and/or Maria, you know? :) I used Ava, though, which was in the top 10 list of names last year and I still love it. In summary, I like it a lot! :) I forget what your other choices were for boy names, so I can't remember if I liked any of them better...I will search out that post in a minute.
Okay, I am back...I stand by my original opinion. Eli and Brigham were my two favorite boy choices. :)
Okay, one more question...is Tim a descendant of Brigham Young?
LOL! You are a riot!
sweet. reminded me of a college-days thing for some reason.
but did you get the matttress?
No, the mattress was more expensive than we guessed it (they've gone up since Miriam was born--at least at DI), so I decided to see what Tim said. Of course, by the time I got home he was asleep.
