Undine just met with Elmer and arranged for poor Ralph to meet with Elmer. This just isn't going anywhere pleasant.
It is deliciously pleasant to dislike Undine and predict whether Peter or Elmer will be her ultimate downfall. Then again, she still likes Popple.
I love Edith Wharton. This is exactly the antidote I needed to poorly written YA fiction.
