My family might be strange--but they sure know how to turn love into action when the need arises. I'm a mighty lucky girl.

Going Home!
I'm going home today, yeah, yeah, and yeah! Mom is at my house cleaning along with my sisters and sis-in-law, and putting up beds and making things nice. Dad and Mom did a sub-for-santa for a Weber State student. She has a restraining order against her ex-husband, two kids, and is trying to go to school and make ends meet. The kicker though is that she has no family. How do people manage without family??? Despite Dad calling himself an "equal opportunity abuser" when he had me laughing again last night and I was protesting--my parents have really been amazing since Eli's birth. Also amazing have been my hubby in his efforts on the house, and my sisters who have spent hours deep-cleaning my house, helping me out with baby supplies, and visiting me at the hospital, and my Dad-in-law who took off several days of work to help finish the basement.

Because I sometimes see people at thier lowest- whole family sick, kid in the hospital, ect- I am always amazed at people with out family. One Mom had been living here a couple of years- all their family was back east- I asked her if she could call anyone from her church- no they didn't go to church, well didi they have any close freinds, no just aquaintances. I was so sad. How awful- even when you are healthy and well. We are so blessed. Sorry about the rambeling giant run on sentence.
Amen to that!
Family is awesome!
P.S. May I have your mom's e-mail address? I just found out TODAY that I've been e-mailing the WRONG Lori Rasmussen all this time. LOL!!! Too funny.
