Eli is such the cutest boy!! I can't believe how big he is though. His cheeks are adorable.
I plugged the camera in to download the pictures I took of Eli and lo and behold there were 100 pictures on the camera. I spared you and only posted twenty.
I love it when Timothy plays with the camera.
I also love how this girl holds her hand when she sucks her thumb.
Such a sweetheart.
Me and my boy reading about George Washington. Cowen is a huge George fan because George rides a big white horse.
My favorite picture Timothy took.
Cowboy Cowen.
The last two weeks Cowen has insisted on wearing button-up shirts so he can wear a tie. At all times. His hat says, "I am a child of God." He's loving primary.
Sadly, his stick horse died the other day. Cowen was waving it around and the head fell off.
Don't worry--we've figured out a way to get him another one. Why we want him to have another stick horse to wave around and accidentally whack people with, I'm not sure. Maybe it's just because he rides his horse all day and we learned from Spur on The Man from Snowy River that "a man without a horse is like a man without a leg." Wise words from a man who knows how to make wallaby stew.
Miriam and her liberty bell.
Last week I went to the temple with my parents and Megan. You have to be careful with Megan. I was in a changing stall meditating on the mysteries of life when Megan snuck up to my stall and made a moderately loud noise at me. I jumped about three feet. Was that really reverent, Megan?? Hmm?? Certain people thought it was amusing though (Mom), ahem.
Point of story is that Timothy watched the kids. I asked him if he wanted to stick in a movie or if he wanted to do school. He opted for school. I gave him the lesson plan for the day--read two books about the Liberty Bell and then make one out of play dough. Of course, being Timothy, the bells turned out WAY better than they would have if I had been the teacher that day.
I'm not sure why a derringer is required for liberty bell making.
Miriam adores Eli. If I had written this several hours ago, I would have stopped with Miriam adores Eli. That was before she carried him downstairs. Where there is only cement. I about had a heart attack when I realized where she was. Apparently, the injunction to hold him on the couch and only the couch was too mild. She's now banned from holding him ever again.
Or at least for a few days.
He's clearly up to no good.
She looks like a saint. Ha. Double ha.
At least this one looks as demonic as she is. You know what you're getting into with this one.
Don't try to fake us out. We're on to you.

hee-hee-hee...your kids make me laugh! call polly about rash - she's insanely good with rashes (us conley have perfect genes except for our sensitive skin - oh, and our spreading hips...sensitive skin and spreading hips - that's all that keeps us from being translated.
Now THAT was a fun post! Loved the pics. Loved what you had to explain about each pic. I didn't even notice Eli's rash till you said something. I did however notice how BIG he's gotten! Holy!
Love the pictures. I don't know if Aveeno has mineral oil or petroleum but they may be a problem. Lotion is hard to find that doesn't contain those. You can try Cetaphil maybe. Good luck with the rash. Looking forward to seeing you next week. Julie
