Thumb Sucking

Last night Emeline started crying really hard. Timothy went down to investigate (I would have waited a lot longer to see if she would fall back asleep). He came upstairs with her, did something in the kitchen, and then took her back down.

When he came back up I asked him what it was all about. She sucks her thumb when she's tired. She twists her fingers in her hair when she sucks her thumb. Apparently, she'd twisted her finger too tightly in her hair and her finger was getting pinched but she couldn't get it out. Timothy had to do a little hair removal.

The hazards of hair-twirling thumb-sucking are many.
