Oh my goodness gracious he's adorable when he's tired and sucks his fingers and leans his head on his fist. I see this a lot at my house before naptime and before bedtime. Yes, I'm a lucky girl.
Eli wasn't in a cooperating mood at Target. It wasn't that he was mad--it was just that he wouldn't smile. And he wanted his mom. I would sit him down and lean back and he'd already be headed toward me. We tried putting him on a little stool. He promptly leaned forward and fell off the stool onto his hands and crawled toward me. I tried holding his hand while he stood, and he promptly crouched down and, you guessed it, crawled toward me.
Despite all that--there was one stupendous picture, besides the "I'm done with all this and am going to suck my fingers picture." It's the one below. I love it.

The rest weren't terrific for hanging on my wall, but they are pictures of Eli and therefore adorable by the very nature of the subject of the photo.
