This is Emeline before her hair loss. And before my camera died. I loved her stellar outfit.
Also before Christmas, Miriam had her first dance recital. She did wonderfully and the whole production was extremely well-run. It made me happy that I picked that dance studio. Especially because the jazz numbers didn't contain any dance moves that made me uncomfortable. Yeah!I thought I was dying yesterday (flu) but I lived. Since Emeline threw up this morning and again a few minutes ago, we kept everyone home from church. Maybe by tomorrow I'll feel a little more like a human. I can hope. I can also hope that the rest of my family doesn't get sick and we can move out of "holiday sick" mode into "normal life" mode. I'm really, really ready for that.

OH my. I hope everyone is feeling better soon. I can't tell you how many people have mentioned having the flu right now.
I am SO knocking on wood wherever I go.
