Proud Moments

Julie came over tonight and we planned THE REST OF THE SCHOOL YEAR!!! We rock. We decided to do all of our future planning late at night when we're tired because once the ideas started rolling they kept on rolling. Some of the them might not seem so great in the light of day but I'm pretty confident we have some stellar things planned for our slavery/Civil War/pioneer units. And I will keep you posted on how those plans turn out. I wish I had a working camera. Let's just say apron making and play producing and violin/piano duet practicing and garden growing and Antelope Island canvassing are going to be involved. I haven't been this excited about school for about two months. Now if we can just stay healthy.

The big problem right now is that I'm halfway through a book and it is 1:00 am. When was the last time I went to bed with my book unfinished?? If you answered "never" you are correct. It isn't just calling to me--it's screaming. So do I do the responsible thing and hit the sack, or grab another little bite of chocolate and pick up the book? DECISIONS ARE SO DIFFICULT TO MAKE RATIONALLY AT ONE IN THE MORNING.
