Today is my birthday. Happy birthday to me. I get to take a siesta from my lame calorie-counting healthy mumbo-jumbo lose weight diet and am eating one of my calorie laden all time favorites--potatoes and bologna gravy. Simply divine. Yes, as everyone already knows, I'm all about the food.

This morning, Emeline had to wait until 8:06 for her breakfast. It was a trial for her and she expressed eloquently her feelings in her blessing on the food: "Heavenly Father, please let me eat breakfast. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

Lindsay came over the other day to show off her new wedding band, which is beautiful, and eat my food. When Timothy got home from class I said, "For our tenth anniversary I want a wedding band."

Timothy: "What?? Why???"

Me: "Because Lindsay came over and I tried on hers and it was beautiful."

Timothy: "Sterling bought her one??"

Me: "Yes."

Timothy: "Curse him."

Me: "I already picked one out."

And last, but not least, Emeline's hair has filled in a little so now it just looks like a normal buzz, which is an improvement.

And now I must go clean my house so I can enjoy whatever book Timothy gives me for my birthday. He always gives me books because I always ask for books. It is a beautiful system.
