Bunch O' Pictures

Eli's favorite instrument is a harmonica. He loves the things. Yes, he has the prettiest mouth on the planet.
Kami and I were discussing whether or not Sebastian would get the big mitts (hands) my boys have. We think no. Both her younger girls are so much more petite than my children.

I love it when babies fall asleep in their high chairs.
If you look close at his mouth, you can see the fat upper lip from a fall at the Barney Easter party (the blood on my good shirt came out--yeah!), and the cut bottom lip from a slip at the swimming pool. Much blood there as well. Poor baby.
Miriam got a hold of the camera. I'm not sure why she was in my bedroom or how she managed to get the coloring in this picture, but I like it. The picture--not her being in my room.
Funny face.
Stylin'. I wore that dress to church when I was a little girl. Anyone recognize it?
Jes call me Jeb (or Jethro).
Kami gave us this cowboy hat for Eli when he was much smaller and it actually fit. Then, however, Eli did not care to wear it. Now he doesn't like to be without it.

A boy and his hat.
The small people took out a bunch of stuff from the shed (that they aren't allowed in) and made a "tree house" by the nasty junk apple tree. I'm not even sure what all is out there, but guaranteed it isn't stuff they are allowed to play with. Why is Miriam wearing one of my good towels as a cape?? And why in the world does Eli think he's big enough to be out with the big kids???? YOU'RE A BABY, ELI!!!!! So stay small. Sheesh.
The child-whisperer. I don't know why she looks so distressed when she's talking to her hubby, Wyatt. What did you say to her, man?
Miriam likes to bug Eli. That's just the way of it.
I like that she bothered to put Emeline's boots on him. They promptly fell off. Then she let him walk back to the house through our prickle-infested yard. Sibling love is a tricky thing.

I really should tell you about all the things that have been going on around here. We had a great time over Easter weekend at Mom and Dad's. They fed us well (choco fondue, strawberries and angel food cake, roast and potatoes, sloppy joe's--yum, yum!!!) and Mom cut Miriam's hair for me. We stayed up late chattering away (my favorite) and enjoyed conference together. Cowen ran around putting on and taking off his new chaps, and Mom worried about my kids getting the legos all over. Good times. Excellent times.

The Barney Easter party was another good time. I saw a bunch of people I haven't seen in awhile, and my children got to hunt for eggs. Eli found two and was content. It was cute.

My children were in swimming lessons and loved them and did well. Lindsay Ann and I perfected the art of caramel popcorn.

I have perfected the art of the screaming break down. I know we need the money but if Timothy doesn't stop working a gazillion hours of overtime on top of school I might have to have a serious freak out. Not that it is his fault. Not that I shouldn't have more self-control. Stop lecturing me in your head.

I'm going to bed now.

Where Timothy won't be because he's working on homework. Grr.

PS--If a girl can't indulge in a little whining on her own blog, where can she?

PPS--What's the best way to break it to Timothy that Cowen broke the screen on one of his windows and someone (I think I know who) scratched up the TV screen quite a bit? Timothy is not going to be happy. Sigh.

PPPS--Eli is at my very favorite age. That is a good thing. A very, very, very good thing. He loves to cuddle and give kisses and wave and give high fives. He can say uh-oh and something else that I can't remember now. He talks with his hands a lot, and he loves it when I chase him around the house growling. He loves to growl and make fish faces and run around naked. He loves to put his hands in my mouth and pat my face. He hates his car seat and loves to be outside. His hair is curling now. He is absolutely darling.

I bought a whole case of tuna fish--fish oil is a mood stabalizer. Too bad you don't like tuna.
