Phineas

Phineas looked kind of like this, with less white and a full liver colored face. I'll post pictures when the mac is working.

A long time ago (yesterday) and far, far away (40 minutes) there was a dog named Luke. Which isn't a very good name for a dog but an excellent name for a little boy. A foolish mother read about Luke on ksl.com, the repository of all things second hand, and took her four young offspring to visit the canine and subsequently take him home.

The mother then changed Luke's name to Phineas and the excited offspring woke early the next morning to play with Finn. Unfortunately, Phineas did not have good manners and jumped up on the children, thereby knocking them down and scratching their faces. The mother thought she could break Phineas of this terrible habit. But then, bad Finn saw the baby child. He thought: that baby child must be a duck, and ran full speed at the baby child and over the top of the baby child, smashing the baby child's head into the concrete which resulted in a loss of skin and much weeping and wailing.

That night, the mother took Phineas back to the original owners, who called him Luke upon his return not knowing that it was a dumb name for a dog.

Phineas resided at this mother's home for less than 24 hours but it taught the mother two very important lessons:

1) While not a very good dog picker-outer, the mother is an excellent dog namer;

2) A five year old boy can get very attached to a dog, despite being too affrighted to go anywhere near the animal.

The end.

Oh wow. SO much happening in your life in such a short amount of time. You are much braver than me when it comes to dogs.

Ha ha- I actually thought to myself, "I wonder how long they'll last." Derek, nor Wyatt, nor we lasted very long, I guess only Megan and Amy are the non-wusses of the family.
