Ultrasound results

According to the ultrasound my placenta is all in one piece and not attached to any scars. Miracle!! I might not have a 6 pounder this time with all that access to food! Everything else looks good too.

Oh yeah, we're now thinking girl.

No names as of yet. Or anytime soon. Timothy is against Harriet and I just haven't found anything else I like nearly as much.

Harriet is a perfect name.

Strong, intelligent, but still feminine.

I don't understand why Timothy is being so stubborn on this issue.

Like I said--no name as of yet. Or in the foreseeable future.

PS Timothy likes Adelaide. And while I really like Adelaide, it doesn't sound like an intelligent girl to me. Sounds more like a decorative girl. Not as decorative and dumb as "Apple" or "Tawny" but still--on the decorative list. I'll keep trying to like it more--for Timothy's sake.

I love Harriet! But I like Adelaide too, actually. I was trying to find a longer name that would have the nickname "Daisy" (without being Margaret---too confusing, we thought) and I considered Adelaide. (Too much of a stretch? maybe). But then we ended up just going with plain Daisy, so, I guess this story has no point, except that I like it and think Adelaide has more character than "Tawny" or whatever. I'm glad things are going well!

Congratulations! Girl, boy, girl, boy, girl, eh? I do have to say I'm completely offended right now. Our next girl was going to be named Tawny Apple, but you just shot down my dreams. sigh!
Have fun playing the name game, Ans! :-)

I really like Adelaide. Would it help to know that I pretty certain that is a name in our family line somewhere? Isn't there a song named sweet Adelaide?
