CHRISTMAS!!!

All presents purchased and wrapped and hidden. (No, I don't do homemade. Hate crafting. Though I do take my neighbors homemade bread and/or fudge. Love cooking. Still need to get hubby gift, but since he won't tell me what he wants (world peace is his usual answer) he might not get anything, so I guess I'm not totally done.)

Family Christmas program at the rest home planned. Just need to call the rest homes tomorrow and finalize date.

Twenty-five days of Christmas countdown paper chain planned. Now I just need to write the days activities on paper and make a chain. (This is a new tradition we started last year thanks to Lindsay Ann who told me that her mother did it. It is an advent sort of thing, but without presents. I make a paper chain with twenty five links. Each link has a Christmas activity written on it. Every morning the children take turns removing a link and telling everyone else what the day's activity is going to be. We did this last year and we all LOVED it. I've been brainstorming for the past week for things to put on this year's chain and finally have it all planned out.)

1 more week until we decorate. Hubby was outvoted this year. One month is just not adequate to celebrate THE SEASON.

Things still to do:
-write Christmas letter--or decide to postpone Christmas letter until baby arrives two months later. Still not sure about this.

-pick picture/pictures for Christmas letter.

-figure out what to get Timothy.

-Make paper chain.

-Call rest homes.

-Christmas baking.

-Christmas eating.

-Decorate.

-Teach my children, "Christmas in Killarney."

-Enjoy every second of the magic.

Yup! Totally agree. One month is NOT adequate. We started decorating this weekend. In fact we put up the trees for FHE today to Sunday Christmas Music, hot chocolate and popcorn. Heaven I tell you. So excited to be done earlier this year!
