Walk Like an Egyptian

We've been studying Egyptians around here, which was pretty apparent today.  Eli yelled from the bathroom, in a most demanding way with nary a please nor will you, for me to come wipe his bum.  I said, "Excuse me?"  Chagrined, he said, "Sorry Mom, that's the way the Egyptians say it."

Hmm.

I'm pretty sure a swift kick to the hindquarters feels the same whether I administer it in the Egyptian or usual way.
