The Mighty Johann

Periodically we call the unnamed one THE MIGHTY JOHANN in deep and theatrical voices.  Never just Johann, and never without a bit of dramatics.  However, after hearing it repeatedly, it is sort of growing on me.  Unfortunately, I only like it when you say THE MIGHTY JOHANN.  Johann by itself doesn't have the same ring.  What are my chances of convincing everyone who meets him to call him The Mighty Johann?

If I was to name him Johann it would be Johann Wilder.  My grandma's maiden name is Wilde.  The name is lovely.  Feel free to use it.  We won't.  It doesn't sound as awesome as THE MIGHTY JOHANN.

Sometimes don't you just wish you were brave enough to name your babies such dramatic names? I look back and think sometimes I should have been more bold, more gutsy, more...something. As it is, we are happy with our names. Still, it's fun to pretend I'd name my babies something. The pattern I dream about the most is naming my kids after cities...Payson (where J. and I first talked family and first kissed), Brooklynn (oh, got that one), London, TelAviv, Anatolia(Turkey), Berlin, Pierre, Jackson, Logan,...you get the point. Anyway, it's a fun game to play. Hope the little guy gets a name sometime! Enjoy.
