Harriet's Birthday--She's TWO!!

Taking pics of Harriet is hard work these days.  Not that she isn't willing to smile--she is!  She just likes to cheese it and make faces more than she likes to smile normally.  Once, when Harriet was about one her Aunt Kayli asked if there were any pictures of Harriet in which the child was not smiling.  Harriet is a happy soul.  Not only is she happy, she's a bit of a spaz.  She reminds me of her Aunt Kayli, actually, in her comedic timing and sense of humor.  She's pretty hilarious and our own little entertainer/comedian.

I pulled out the camera.  Immediate cheese.
We purchased her birthday cake this year.  I didn't have a fridge for two weeks and I just wasn't feeling capable of doing anything involving food.  (The new fridge stopped working and had to be returned to be repaired.  It is back and so far, one day in, doing well.)
Harriet's "squish" face is usually more impressive.  She didn't want to put down her spoon to squish the other half of her face.
 "Mad" face.
 Intent.
Do I get to touch them?  The last time there were presents I wasn't allowed to touch them.

I am allowed to touch them!!

 Socks!
 Something to push!

 More cheese.
The kids watching Cowen do tricks.
Harriet intent on her presents.  Harriet received far more than normal this year.  Timothy and I bought the doll and stroller for her months ago.  Then recently a dear friend in my ward went through her daughter's toys and brought over several baby dolls and a cradle and asked if I wanted them.  I added the baby dolls to our general toy collection but repainted the cradle for Harriet.

The "blanket" you can see in the picture I made from a pillow case a different friend gave me in a grab bag.  I just bought some batting, put in a layer, sewed up the edges, then added ties.  Super easy doll blanket and all the girls love it.
 Eli and a squish face.

Not sure what this face was supposed to be.
I know this face though--this is her cutie patootie face that gets her out of all sorts of trouble.  She is so cute!

Happy birthday, Lady Harriet--we sure do love you!!!!!

Her curls are so cute! I just love them! I'm so glad you have a fridge back. I would have been freaking out. But then, I'm not known for my ability to remain calm.

Harriet is cute. You already knew that. Now am I not the worst aunt ever?
