Some pics of Oskar

I tried to document how skinny and scrawny and brand-new Oskar looks before I sponged him off the other day.  Unfortunately, I am a terrible photographer.  Fortunately, the subject is perfection.

Concerned face.  He doesn't like getting sponged off.  He prefers being wrapped up tight.

Baby in the hood.

I tried to capture his hair color.  It is a pretty brownish-red compared to, say, Eli.  I can't remember if Miriam's looked that dark when she was a baby.  My guess is that his hair will be similar to Miriam's when he gets big--darker than Emeline's but still a blond-based red.  Right now his hair reminds me of Ruth.

So little.

This pic makes me think he should have been named Winston.

He worked so hard helping me fold laundry he had to take a nap.

Periodically he opens his eyes.  Not often.
