Hail the Conquering Flag Football Player

Cowen's flag football team won the championship!!  Yay, Cowen!!!  The game was really exciting and the boys played great.  I was really impressed with his coaches this year--no yelling or any other types of craziness.

Cowen did really well this season.  He played the position where you hike the ball--center, I believe it is called.  He doesn't like being the center, but he's good at it.  During the game the kids rotated in and out, and when Cowen was out the person who hiked the ball in his place messed up three times.  The coach yelled, "Cowen, get in here!"  Cowen hiked the ball beautifully and they got the first down.

Cowen also got three key flag pulls that stopped the other team right at their end zone.  The defensive coach said, "Cowen, you should get paid for your flag pulls."  Cowen loves defense--it is his favorite part of football.

Great season, Cowen.  I loved watching you play.  Glad you had fun.
