I adore Oskar's stocking. I think it turned out so cute. I bought a different stocking off ebay and cut the rocking horse out of the front of that stocking and sewed it to this one. Timothy thinks there needs to be more stars, so I might add a few next year. This is the first time Timothy wrote the name on the top of stocking. He had to deal with all the anxiety because my "O" always looked terrible.
Christmas Eve pajamas.
Cowen's pajamas are identical to Eli's except bigger.
I love Christmas stockings so, so, so, so much!
Oskar got a giraffe in his stocking.
Emeline got baby hedgehogs. She was over the moon.
Miriam didn't get pajamas this year--she got rockin' slippers instead.
Eli with his samurai castle. Imaginext, obviously.
Emeline with her bakery--the perfect size for hungry calico critters.
Cowen and Miriam both got digital cameras. Both cameras are currently broken.
Books!
Patsy joined us for the party.
Miriam got the whole set of Caroline books. That's her favorite American Girl doll.
Oskar with his Christmas book about a rocking horse.
Harriet with her barn.
Now, the mustache is a funny story. The kids make each other gifts each Christmas and this past year Harriet had Cowen's name. When Timothy asked her what she wanted to make for Cowen she said, "A huge mustache!" Timothy thought that sounded fine, so they proceeded with that plan. Not long after that discussion, Cowen asked Harriet what she was making for him. She said, "A huge mustache!" Cowen didn't believe her. "No, Harriet, what are you really making?" This conversation was repeated countless times between Cowen and Harriet.
It was hilarious when Cowen opened his present and realized that, indeed, it was a "huge mustache!"
Merry Christmas--a little late. :)
