Dorfs

My kids checked out a book about fantasy characters from the library.  There are all your expected suspects: wizards, thieves, rogues, witches, elves, goblins, and dwarves.  Eli fell in love with the dwarves and their awesome weapons as did several of the other children to a lesser degree.  However, they failed to learn how to pronounce the word correctly and have been going around calling each other dorfs.  Eli says it constantly, "Hey Mom, I'm a dorf!"  I'm not sure what a dorf is but it sure is funnier than a dwarf!

dorf is the German word for village. Now you know.

Dorf also happens to be Jeff's wife's maiden name. She hasn't shown us any cool weapons but she's only been in the family a few years, there could be things she hasn't told us....

Devonee,

First--flattered that you paid a visit to my blog. Second--you should ask Amy (pretty sure that's her name) about her weapons. Who knows what she'll whip out. Dorfs are awesome, after all.

I feel a little stalkerish telling you this, but I pay quite a few visits to all the bloggers in your family. I mentioned the weapon thing tonight and it was decided that her voice is her weapon. Some of those notes she can reach are killer!
