Harriet to Eli: "Do you have a gleam in your eye?"
Eli, totally disgusted, "Of course I do. Everybody does."
Cowen to me: "Did I inherit my green eyes?"
Me: "Yep, but I don't know who from--neither Dad nor I have green eyes. I love your green eyes!"
Cowen: "I know. That's why I don't want anyone else to have green eyes."
After I finished changing Oskar's diaper today he hopped up and said, "Thanks, Mom!" then started to run off. After a second he stopped, ran back, said, "Kiss!" then puckered up. He's such a sweetheart.
Today we finished making the neighbor treats and tried to deliver them in the rain. There was no caroling *sniff sniff* due to the weather. I can carol in snow no problem, but there is something wrong about caroling in drenching rain. Different groups of kids just ran the treats up to the doors and yelled, "Merry Christmas!"
Timothy then moved the piano out of the music room and into the library for our sing-a-long party tomorrow night and then Sunday's Young family party. Moving the piano is no small task and there were moments that I despaired for my piano. After Sunday's party I'm making at least four other men help him get it back in place. My heart can't handle watching that again.
Right now Timothy is hanging up the remainder of my gallery wall in the dining room. I want to post pics but I also want to wait to post pics until after Kami comes for Christmas and sees it in real life. My impatience is trying to get the better of me.
And now I'm off to photocopy music for tomorrow's party. Merry Christmas!
