Someday I'll care enough about preserving memories to take more pictures. On Christmas Eve we headed over to Timothy's parents' house at about 4:00 pm. We got all dolled up for the Bethlehem dinner and ate. We were lucky to have great-grandma and great-grandpa with us this year. Bryce and Nicole, Amelia, and Eric were all there--so it was fun to have everyone.
After eating we went Christmas caroling. This is always a highlight for me as all of Tim's family can sing parts so it sounds really good! After singing we threw our popcorn balls at the people who came to the door. Fun, fun.
After that we opened the presents Beckie and Kenny gave us. The kids were super excited--the first presents of Christmas. We went back to our house to open our Christmas Eve pajamas and put the kids to bed.
My mantel decorated for Christmas. Kami informed me that the kind of fabric I bought that reminded me of snow is minky. I thought it was pretty and the beta fish is even red--festive.
Stockings.
The tree after Santa came! He was pretty generous this year.
The Star Wars basketball hoop Timothy and Miriam made for Cowen and Eli.
Emeline in her Christmas pajamas. Her doll got matching pajamas. Lucky doll.
Clover Leaf in her Christmas pajamas. She likes the feet as much as I do.
Miriam's Christmas gown. It is so 70s and she loves it.
On the way to our house--coming home from grandparents Young--Cowen said, "I hope I get Star Wars pajamas, but that might be dreaming too big." He was pretty happy when he opened the package and found Star Wars pajamas!
Oskar's pajamas.
Eli's pajamas. They say, "DINOSAUR RAMPAGE." He loves dinos.
Harriet's nightgown.
Timothy helping Clover with her pajama unwrapping.
Grandma Beckie gave Eli this dinosaur shirt. You can see how it works. When you put the arms together it makes a ferocious mouth. He adores it. In fact, he's wearing it as I type this.
It was a lovely Christmas Eve. I enjoyed every minute of it.
