Timothy read the littles a few good night stories tonight while I held Annabel and tried to avoid getting hit with an elastic as I inexplicably found myself in the crossfire between Eli and Cowen. If you're not familiar with Little Black: A Pony you should find it and read it. It is a nice little story about a pony that saves a boy from drowning. Timothy's version involved pony therapy for depression and how the pony forgot to take his meds and the boy drowned. Then Timothy said, "Except this is a children's book . . ." and proceeded to revise his revised ending to involve sugar cubes and glory. I know you had to be there--but it was awesome. Harriet kept getting irritated and kept saying, "Read what's here!" while jabbing the page with her finger while Emeline and I giggled. Good times.
PS I was watching the boys' elastics war and at one point they shot at the same time and their elastics hit midair. Now that's talent.

Hahaha! That reminds me of how dad would read a story. It also reminds me of something dad would say when you said, 'now that's talent'
