This post should come after a bunch of posts about baby Annabel, but Kayli wanted to see some stuff so I took pictures tonight and am posting now before I get busy and forget.
First, the awesomeness of Harriet's neck wound. Yes, I am being sarcastic. The girl somehow managed to climb up on the window ledge and pull down the blind cords from where I'd tucked them at the top of the blinds, wrap them around her neck, and then choke herself. I was in the kitchen cleaning off counter-tops and didn't hear a thing. I wish I knew the full story, but she isn't coherent about the details. When I saw her, I asked her what happened and she made up some ridiculous story about Oskar choking her. She has been taught not to touch the blinds, she knew better, and she was worried about consequences. She needn't have worried. I was just glad she was alive.
I thought I'd posted pictures of my vision board before, but Kayli says I did not so I did not. This January I went to Home Depot and bought this board thingy and brought it home. Being the artistic creature that I am (ha), I wrote out Timothy's and my agreed upon house projects for the year and then I stapled on (it was fun to use a staple gun, I must admit) some pictures representing year-long goals. Voila. It is sort of funny to me that after I did all of that, I whined to Timothy about how I wanted a wall removed more than any of the other projects but I didn't think it was financially feasible for this year. He spent the next Saturday hanging out in the attic and figuring out how he could take down the wall and make everything work. Then he declared it financially viable. Therefore, my vision board isn't even accurate anymore. I keep meaning to update it.
Guess who didn't want his picture taken? Really, Cowen, you turn 11 and this is what I get when I whip out my camera?? Doesn't that grumpy face just make you want to tickle him? Or kiss him until he tries to push you away?? I love boys. Even grumpy ones.
Who got a snazzy new haircut from Grandma? Emeline! You are so adorable!!!
Emeline and Annabel. Emeline really, really, really likes holding the baby.
Harriet today. Having a new baby around just wipes her out. :)
In other news, Timothy started his new job on Tuesday. A few weeks ago, a previous boss of Timothy's texted him and offered him a job. They discussed and dickered and whatnot for a little while and then Timothy accepted the job. It is still on base (yay!), pays more (yay!), and should be a good fit for what Timothy most enjoys doing. I've been all sorts of proud of him for being so smart and such a good employee that his boss wanted him back and then tonight his boss from his SLC job texted him and asked him to come back and work for him. Random!!!! But . . . never. We love you, Hill Air Force Base jobs, with your cushy hours and random holidays.

That is SO scary about Harriet's accident! Thank goodness she is okay. Congrats to your hubby with his new job! That's awesome. Blessings all around. :)
Haha, I like your vision board, but I was expecting it to be more ...visiony, rather than listy. :) I mean, obviously there were some pictures, I don't know why I was expecting all pictures with maybe a few words--maybe because you called it a vision board and not a big to-do list for the year. ;) I'm teasing.
That picture of Emeline and Annabel is The CUTEST!!!
Ack! Harriet! Glad she's okay.
