What my room always looks like. Sigh.

What the children deem "quality entertainment" until it is time to replace the books on the shelves.

This past weekend Kami bribed us to visit her. Actually, we called and begged to be allowed. See, we have this new game called Pandemic and I'm pretty much an addict. We needed fellow players.
We had an awesome time.
Kami made us the best cheese fondue I've ever eaten. She used havarti--that's as far as I know, but she's supposed to be posting the recipe for me soon.
She provided gorgeous sauteed mushrooms and steak for dipping. Then, later, when the kids were in bed she broke out the pineapple and bananas and chocolate fondue. The woman is a wonder.
Best of all, we BEAT PANDEMIC!!!!! Yahoo!!! It is a cooperative game, everyone against the pandemics breaking out, and we lost two games before winning the third by the skin of our teeth. Literally. So Lindsay and Sterling, next time you come we'll see if we can't beat the game too.
The next morning, after Leo fed us waffles (I didn't want to leave for obvious reasons), Kammers broke out her dress-up boxes. Much fun had by all.

Eli was in love with the red hat.

Isabel. Notice the hat Kami's wearing.

Ana graduated from Weber, apparently. She was pretty thrilled.

I know, terrible pic of me, but I LOVE the shirt!!! So Grandma Mildred. I wanted to keep it and wear it but Timothy was opposed. Bah humbug. (I'm due in 7 weeks, can you believe it??)

I made Ana pose like she had her foot resting on something, but she really didn't. Good balance, Ana. Excellent color choices.

The Queen of Hats. When Eli wandered into Kami's bedroom, he started yelling and pointing with great excitement. What was he yelling? "Hats!" of course, what else would he see hanging all over her walls?

If the sleeves were a hair longer, Kami would never see that jacket again.

The socks matching was just a weird twist of fate.
Thanks for letting us visit, Kami and Leo and family! We had such a wonderful time!!

Kami has some really fun dress up boxes! Love the hats too.
P.S. The fondues sounded really good right about now!
Never visit Kami again. She's mine. She lives in Chicago and I live in Indiana and fondue and dressing up is strictly for us to do with each other.
