Harriet's Room

Lady Harriet doesn't really get a "nursery" per se, but she does get a lovely corner. A corner made lovelier by many people's efforts.

Kami made the hangy thingys. We'll just call them mobiles. I love them.

The yellow curtains are from IKEA.

Timothy, bless him, touched up the paint job on the crib and change table. They look brand-new--despite having been used by three previous children.
I bought the material for the blanket online and then had it machine quilted. I failed to tell the lady taking my order that I wanted eyelet around the edge so they quilted right to the edge. My mother, for my birthday present, agreed to do the edging for me BEFORE she found out about my mistake. I don't know what all she had to do to get the eyelet to work, but she did an amazing job. It looks so beautiful.
Beckie and Kenny made the fabric cover for the change table mattress. That is the same material that backs the quilt.
I bought the name decal from Rosenberry Rooms. I love it. LOVE IT. Timothy put it up for me. It makes me smile every time I see it.

And there you have it. Harriet's corner of the world. It is the prettiest corner in my house--as it should be. It is for a Lady.
