Cost

Timothy had today off so we enjoyed a little lie-in this morning. The children woke at their normal time, but we held them off by giving them quick baths and putting on a movie.

I heard the fridge open and close a few times but assumed the kids were getting into the grapes that were in plain sight. My children are obsessed with grapes. In fact, I was grateful the grapes were there--yet another way the children could keep themselves occupied and happy. Grapes aren't very messy.

When Timothy and I emerged, I caught sight of Eli. His hair was coated with . . . something. As was his clothes. I couldn't quite figure it out until I cornered him and smelled.

Bacon grease.

He'd got my cup full of bacon grease out of the fridge and smeared it all over my downstairs couch, toy horse, carpet, and a few walls.

WHY?????

Sometimes the cost of a little hanky panky is very high.

Soooo sorry. Can't stand messes like that. Makes me so uptight.

Try your magic want. If you can find it. ;)

I told Alma this- and told him the price of getting it on was too high- he said the price is never too high.
