Christmas nativities

http://www.catholicsupply.com/CHRISTMAS/_borders/12868.jpg

I realize how late it is, but Timothy isn't here to put me to bed, and I find it difficult to make my way there on my own. I was looking at nativities because Timothy and I are always trying to find one that we like and I found this delightful Catholic website and found the above nativity. I LOVE it. It was destined to be mine, except that I have no money. Life's like that. I do love it though. I also found this other one on an ebay store: http://cgi.ebay.com/Retro-Rustic-DRIFTWOOD-NATIVITY-SET-w-animals-12pc-WOW_W0QQitemZ350104040415QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item350104040415&_trkparms=72%3A1205|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

I like the first one best, but the second one is beautiful too. I'm going to bed now. Really.

They are both beautiful, but I do like the top one best too. My favorite is actually *gasp* at Deseret Book. Anyway, I don't have the money for it either. But if I was going to collect something Christmasy it would be nativities, only all the ones I like are $300. Hmmph. I have the same problem as you. No dinero. At least we can commiserate together.

Girls after my own heart. There is just something about Nativity sets. I really like ones that come from different countries. I am intrigued by their take on the whole Nativity scene. Very interesting to me.
I have one hand- made from Egypt. It was given to me last year by a friend who moved there. I was SO stunned and humbled when she gave it to me.

I like the first choice you made too Andrea. Hope you are able to get it someday. Maybe someone out there will be kind enough to get it for you.

It it fun to window shop on the net, though.

if it makes you feel better - I'm debating if I have the dinero to make the felt handpuppet nativity I saw the other day...hmmm...felt - the cheapest crafting material on earth - and I'm hesitation...probably because I've invested too much of my budget into "monster" material...oh - and tulle for tutus...speaking of which - please measure your girl's waists and get back to me - I'm cutting elastic and starting to tie this weekend...and get their color choices - I have pink, fuschia, turquoise, apple green, emerald green, black, red, white, orange - and I think that's it...I can do a combo of colors as well - let me know what they/you want - bye for now - bb
