My little sister Lindsay came over on Thursday to bum food and as payment I made her hang out at Miriam and Cowen's soccer practice with me. Before it started Cowen and Miriam ran off to climb a tree. Then the coach started gathering everyone together and I called for the kids to come over. Cowen yelled, "We am coming!!"
Sometimes his grammar issues are hilarious to me. For instance, Cowen and I were having a deep discussion about something (I don't remember what) and Cowen said, very seriously, "They am so funny." Or when he asks, "How old you am?"
Cowen, when he gets tired, has these massive meltdowns when you ask him to do something. These meltdowns generally consist of him crying, staggering around until he falls into a heap on the floor, while insisting over and over, "I too tired!" The staggering is the best part--I tend to giggle internally a lot while watching him. It's what I imagine drunk people look like.
Tonight, Timothy asked him to go downstairs and get his pajamas. Cowen instantly started crying and staggering and said, "It too sunny!" Can any of you parenting experts out there explain to me the significance of the sun level on a child's ability to get his pajamas?? 'Cause we am curious.
