I don't have time to post anything lengthy but I can provide a laundry list of things we've been up to.
1) Sunday night I drove to the airport at 10:00 pm to pick up Kami, Elena, and Isabel.
2) Monday Kami drove to the airport to pick up Ana.
3) Monday night we all (Kami and kids, me and children, and Wyatt and children) went to the horse and hitch parade. Good times had by all. The miniature horses were the highlight.
4) Today Kami and I drove to Lindsay Ann's house and dropped off the kids with the babysitters, picked up Lindsay Ann and headed to the temple to do initiatories (sp). Lovely. One of the names I did was Olivett. I'm in love with that name. Afterwards we did the traditional walk to Farr's ice cream and ate some ice cream. Yum.
5) At 3:00 we (Kami, me, Lindsay Ann and assorted offspring) walked to the library by my house and watched Timothy's Magic Show (not my hubby--another, less attractive Timothy). His performance was fantastic. At one point a disobedient magic wand flew up his nose. Cowen and Hailey were laughing so hard they looked like they were about to pass out. Watching Cowen was the highlight of the event. He kept getting up high on his knees and then doubling over and banging his hand on the floor in an excess of mirth. Hilarious. Randomly, Lindsay found us there and took my keys so she could get into my house and eat food. I don't know why she bothered with my keys. She's broken in before when she was hungry.
6) Made supper and forced Ana to give my carrots first prize for best carrots she's ever eaten.
7) Watched Elena put her knees up by her ears while I was changing her diaper. I know kids are flexible but she's outrageously flexible. I guess that explains why Kami posts pictures of Elena eating with her feet. Strange child, Elena. She and Emeline haven't quite decided who's queen bee. Love two year olds. Cowen, on the other hand, saw Isabel, fell instantly in love, and spends much of his time oohing and aahing over her. Miriam and Ana . . . let's just say that the drive into Ogden this morning could be summed up in these immortal words: "SHE'S TOUCHING ME!" Tears were involved.
8) Kami and I voted Lindsay Ann off the island. It might have something to do with the babysitters gushing about how well-behaved and wonderful Hailey and Cassidy were and then spending numerous minutes delineating Miriam's and Elena's many infractions during the three short hours we were gone. Sigh. At least Kami has Elena's age going for her. Two year-olds are generally "a little possessive." My six-year old has no excuse.
9) MIRIAM LOST HER FIRST TOOTH!!!!!!
10) Kami did my dishes tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And that, my friends, is a quick update. Tomorrow is another day. With many children in it.

Phew!!! That's a LOT happening at your house. Good times. : D
sounds like too much fun. I wish I was there- you know me- nothing I love more than hordes of relatives (or semi-realtives) and kids, and craziness.
hey man!!
