Last night we celebrated Tim's, Kayli's, Jethro's, Hazel's, and President Monson's birthday with a piratey party at Megan's. The food was awesome, the cake Timothy and I made pretty stellar (pics to come), and the company awesome.
At one point I tried to convince Jethro, age 7, to join my homeschool. I told him that we'd be studying mountain men and how cool that was. He looked interested. Then I said we were also going to study bugs. To which he replied: "I'd rather study mammals." Alrighty then.

I wanna see the cake.
About the chalkboard:I bought a big huge ugly framed print of some type at D.I. Cost me $8 and it was worth it. Making a frame would have cost me more than $8. Then I took the picture out and found that it was on a big thick slab of cardboard so I just painted over it with the magnetic and chalkboard paint. Easy peasy. If you don't care if it's magnetic then it's even easier. But Dan insisted on the magneticness. Anyway, it was cool. I'd definitely help you!
