On Wednesday, Julie and I took our kids on an exploration/mountain man adventure hike. The hike was not long, but it was dirty, so obviously everyone had a great time.
At the very end of the hike, all the children managed to get wet in the river on purpose or by accident. In the process of undressing my children down to their underwear so they could sit in my van, I failed to notice that Cowen no longer had his possible's bag. Oh my, he was devastated when we arrived home and realized it was gone.
Despite his great loss, I'm sure Cowen will carry on in the true spirit of mountain mannedness.
