For Andrea

This blog post is titled "For Andrea" because my sister hacked into my blog and posted these pictures for me. THANK YOU, KAMI!!

And now I accidentally deleted one. GRRR!!!

Mom and Dad have a new bbq pit and it is awesome.

Saturday was a lovely day. We went to Mom's to, ostensibly, help with the garden. I didn't do much helping but it was fun to watch and see Cowen plant potatoes.

After the garden we went on a hike. I learned something profound. Hiking during naptime with three year olds is unwise. Morning hikes are really the only way to go. Unless you want to pack Eli down a mountain. The boy weighs a TON.

When we got back, there were saddled horses ready and waiting. Eli went nuts when he saw them and made all sorts of "please take me closer to those large things" noises. When Grandpa put him up in front of me on Maggie (Grandpa's tallest horse), Eli made all sorts of "I'm terrified, please put me back on the ground immediately" noises. But after a few minutes he started laughing, and dancing (he seat dances a lot), and making many "I'm so happy to be up on this thing" noises. Very cute. We didn't stay on too long because Miriam was anxious to the see the fire and Cowen was anxious to ride by himself.

After that was the very lovely bbq.

Tremendously fantastic day.
