My 70s Pad

Lately, my 70s pad has gotten a whole lot more 70s. Not to mention much sweeter.
Last Saturday, Timothy and the rest of us went to every used store in Ogden trying to find a dresser. We didn't find a dresser. We did find, however, this smokin' chair for $8. It is a lot more olive in real life than in this picture. Well, a bright olive. Basically, it is the perfect color for a 70s pad. Now if only I could get a Mustang in this color . . ..
Look at that! A couch! A chair! People actually have somewhere to sit in our home now. Amazing.

And the bouncy horse? Yeah, we found that at a garage sale. Another unexpected purchase during our Saturday shopping spree.
Those are my Billy Budd bookshelves (Ikea, I love you). We need more Billys. They sell a half width size, so that is on my agenda for my room. Also, they have extenders that go almost to the ceiling. I want those for all the bookshelves. Some day. Some day.

Really though, I just need to get those durn curtains up to tie the whole room together. Some day. Some day.

What Miriam did this afternoon. I love calling dot-to-dots "math."
Could she be any prettier???? Sometimes she takes my breath away.
As for this dude. He's pretty cute himself. I told him to look weird. This is the result.
