Timothy's birthday was the 21st of August, so yes, I am a little behind in blogging. He had vanilla brownies instead of a cake because he's like that and we gave him a new backpack despite the fact that he has about 50 bajillion backpacks for 50 bajillion different purposes. This backpack, however, he uses every day and will work brilliantly for longer hikes with the kids. Plus, it is a bright color if he wears it while biking. Plus, I called Timothy's sister Amelia (resident expert on outdoor gear---except when I call Tim's dad or brother Bryce) and she said it was an excellent choice. Timothy appeared pretty pleased.
After the present opening we played games with Lindsay and Sterling and appropriately, Timothy won. Happy 33rd year of life, Timothy.
