Cowen's First Year of Football

Cowen loved his first year of flag football.  For a boy who hasn't watched or played much (any) football in his life, he picked it up quick.  At first the coach had Cowen playing center (the player who hikes the ball to the quarterback) but gave that up due to Cowen's inattention and general lack of interest.  Cowen declared center as "boring."

After that, the coach told Cowen to rush the quarterback every single play.  It was like Cowen found his one true love.  Pulling flags.  After that he stayed focused (mostly) and enjoyed everything a lot more.  He was also really, really good at putting pressure on the quarterback.

I loved watching his games.  I love watching kids learn how to play.  They are just so funny.  Good times had by all.
