I wish I had thought to do this sooner--take pics of the kids' art and made sure it would be saved forever thanks to my blogging addiction. Miriam has created so many awesome things in the past few months that are no longer with us and that I didn't photograph. Miriam loves to draw, but she loves even more to create things that involve cutting and glueing and building.
Above is the Cyclops Miriam drew after we finished listening to a version of
The Odyssey.
This was Miriam's first experience using a real canvas. She chose oil pastels as her medium but I didn't know (still don't--Kami??) how to keep the pastels from blending when she was done.

Elf. She drew this after reading through Lesson One in the art book. It was sort of a still life lesson. She was drawing one of her Schleich elves.
