Emeline's Art Work: First Half of Kindergarten

 I love how Emeline plays with colors.  She loves drawing and spends hours with her little pencil set (really the only art supply I bought the kids that I think everyone should invest in).

This was Emeline's product after art lesson # 4: Artists Communicate.  She was telling the story of the mother cat and her two kittens.

 Monster.

 Blue Whale.  When she drew this I asked her if she copied.  She said, "No Mom, I just pictured it in my head and drew it."  First, I can't really picture a blue whale in my head and second, I can't possibly draw one that well.  Awesome.

 Chipmunk.

 Giraffes.

 Crocodile egg.

 Pizza.

 Elf.  (Or, as Emeline usually says, "Those creatures with the pointy ears.")

 Emeline after playing with soft pastels.  The kids love the bright colors; I am learning to not get too worked up about the mess.
