Why must I wear only one sock?
Why can't I have four socks? Or a kilt?
I love Cowen's self-portraits. Such a handsome boy.
Oskar is now 8 months and such a cutie-pie. He doesn't crawl yet but he likes to roll all over the place.
Hi, Mom!
Patsy thinks Oskar is her puppy. She likes to lick his face and snuggle up by him. Good for his immune system, right?
Mom, I can't roll anywhere! I'm trapped!
Patsy found Harriet asleep on the stairs and snuggled up next to her. I went for my camera but the other children noticed me and ruined the adorable scene before I could get a picture. Harriet, whether with a dog or by herself, is always cute. In this case I put her to bed for her nap but she got out of bed, unbeknownst to me, and made it almost to the upstairs before giving up and going to sleep.
Why must I be the elephant in your play? I'm a dog, people, a dog!
The real question I have is why is it almost December? I usually have my shopping done by now. I usually have my paper chain Christmas countdown activity thingy put together. I'm usually listening to Christmas music and begging Timothy to put up the stockings. Not this year! This year I didn't even realize how close it was to Thanksgiving until I pulled out my calendar for some school planning and about had a heart attack. Where did November go??? For that matter, where did October go???
Actually, I know where October went. October flew by in a golden haze of sunshine and hiking and leaf collecting and glorious, glorious outdoor adventures. Thank you, October, for existing. November, you've been quite kind as well--just last longer because December, I'm not ready for you yet.

Harriet sleeping on the stairs is sooo cute!! You should put her hair in little curly piggy tails all the time!!!
Also the other pictures were adorable too. I love how Oskar is trapped in the corner by Patsy.
Good times.
I love the pictures of Harriet! And your dog is funny.
