Emeline had to write a commandment on her paper in primary last Sunday. The paper had a large CTR on it that she had colored. Her commandment, "Donte read the books that you are suposd to put away--Moms orders." She might be my daughter. :)
Harriet and Oskar had a heated conversation at the table today. They were talking about what would happen if someone tried to shoot the plants hanging on the walls. Oskar thought it was okay to shoot the plants because his dad, Timothy Young, could just fix the walls if they were damaged. Harriet was very annoyed, "Dad can't fix everything!" Oskar, "YES HE CAN!" Harriet, "He can't fix water once it is inside you!" Um . . . I'm pretty sure she proved her point because, as far as I know, Timothy can't fix water once it has been drunk. (In her defense, she realized right away that she'd used an iffy example and thought about it for a few minutes and said, "Dad can't put a broken egg back together so he can't fix everything." Good example.)
Cowen, on getting sent to his room after his brain apparently overloaded and went on the fritz, "It's because you keep jumping us into school instead of easing us into it!" Yep-that three hours total of school you've done since Annabel was born was pretty intense. We should scale waaaaayyyy back.
Miriam's riddle poem she wrote for a game she and the children were playing.
Follow the ice sleigh down the frozen track. Make a move and bring it back. Touch the frozen dogwood tree; find the hidden portal's key. Don't look back on the desert path. Find the bottle and the scroll. Stir the potion with the spell. You've broken the curse, all is well.
I keep meaning to post, but it is lame that I can't download my pictures right now. Timothy's on the job. It is easier than fixing water once it is inside someone. In short, things are going really well right now. We finished a lot of our house projects in time for Annabel's blessing on Sunday. I love that our last baby was blessed on Father's Day. I will post more pictures of that event and the house. We've been doing some school lately, which is always fun (amidst the not fun bits). We're studying physical fitness so we've been exercising and talking about whether or not our meals are healthy. Motivating! I would write more, but Annabel is demanding attention and I haven't seen her all day (baby girl sleeps a lot) so I'm going to go snuggle my baby.

Your kids are so cute. And it is wonderful to have a husband who can fix (almost) anything! :) How sweet to have a Father's Day blessing. I bet Annabel looked darling…but I don't KNOW without any PICTURES. Ha ha ha. :)
